About Department 

History Department Has Established 1971. Department has organized historical trips every year. For collecting information about forts museums for departmental students for the purpose of giving knowledge about great personalities, department has celebrate great historical personalities birth anniversary like Chh. ShivajiMaharaj, Savitribai Phule &Mahatma Gandhi etc.With traditional education systems Department has collected historical photography like forts, historians photo .Department Conducted seminars about local history about local history for improved of historical knowledge of students.

Vision:-To create Historical awareness among the students.

Course Objective and Course Outcome

After successful completion of the Undergraduate Programme in History, students will be able to:

Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of major historical events, processes, personalities, and developments in Indian and World History.

Explain continuity and change, causation, chronology, and historical context in analyzing past societies and civilizations.

Critically examine historical events, interpretations, and historiographical debates using logical reasoning and evidence.

iii. Organized One Day Workshop on “Personality Development –Soft skills” in Bhogawati Mahavidyalaya, Kurukali on 29.07.2012.
